this idler gear is well made and fast. this idler gear is a must for your ambassadeur reel. smoother and much faster casting. great products, great prices and a great company.
Great product. Very easy to install. This part coupled with the dual bearing worm gear kit makes a low end 6500 C3 cast like some of the higher end models. Definitely worth the money. I will buy again in the future.
Works great! With this kit installed my old 2500C casts 10% longer than with the original idler gear. A bit noisy but not a problem.

Now we had people coming over all hours of the day wanting parts and repairs done! Well, dad still had a full time job as a H/D mechanic, and this was all getting to be too much, so he decided to go at this full time. That was around 1980....
