Product Description
DAM Quick 110-515 Oscillation Slider - SLS 2
Ensure flawless line lay and smooth spool operation with this genuine DAM Quick Oscillation Slider.
The oscillation slider (also known as the traverse block) is the mechanical component responsible for the up-and-down movement of your reel's spool. Connected to the main shaft and driven by the oscillation gear, this part ensures that fishing line is wound evenly across the spool surface. On the DAM Quick SLS 2, a worn slider can cause the spool to stick at the top or bottom of its stroke, result in uneven line stacking, or create a "knocking" sound during retrieval. This authentic replacement part restores the precise linear motion required for long casts and consistent drag performance.
Product Features
-
Precise Tracking: Machined to slide effortlessly within the body channels of the SLS 2 for friction-free movement.
-
Restored Line Lay: Solves issues with "hourglass" or cone-shaped line stacking on the spool.
-
Durable Construction: Built to withstand the constant friction and direction changes of the oscillation cycle.
-
Direct Fit: Engineered specifically for the internal geometry of the DAM Quick SLS 2 gearbox.
Model Compatibility
This part is verified to fit the following DAM Quick spinning reel models:
-
DAM Quick SLS 2
Note: This slider is designed for the mid-sized SLS 2 frame. It is not compatible with the smaller SLS 0/1 (Part #110-514) or the larger SLS 3/4/5 models.

Installation Notes
Replacing the oscillation slider requires disassembly of the reel's gearbox.
-
Remove the spool, handle, and side plate to access the internals.
-
Remove the main drive gear to reveal the oscillation system underneath.
-
Unscrew the small screw connecting the main shaft to the old slider.
-
Slide the old block out and thoroughly clean the body tracks of old grease and debris.
-
Install the new 110-515 slider. Apply a generous amount of reel grease to the tracks and the groove that engages the oscillation gear pin.
-
Reconnect the main shaft and test the up-and-down motion by turning the pinion gear by hand before reassembling the side plate.
