Drag Surface Treatment: Apply a very thin, translucent coat of Deuthlon Reel Grease to both sides of the CarbonTex washers. This specialized grease is formulated to withstand extreme pressure while providing a waterproof barrier that prevents "chatter" under heavy load.

Internal Protection: Use Deuthlon Reel Oil on the spool bearings and drive shaft to ensure the reel operates with zero friction, maximizing your free-spool performance and complementing the upgraded drag system.
Installation Tip: Before fitting your new kit, use a high-quality degreaser to remove all old grease and salt deposits from the metal drag plates. A clean, smooth metal surface is vital for the carbon fiber to seat properly and perform at its peak.
