Product Description
Fin-Nor HT315-01 Spool Shaft Assembly (Offshore OFS65-95)
Restore the structural backbone and drag stability of your heavy-duty saltwater reel with the Fin-Nor HT315-01 Spool Shaft Assembly. This genuine OEM component is the central main shaft for the large-frame Fin-Nor Offshore (OFS) spinning reels. Crafted from high-strength stainless steel, this shaft connects the internal oscillation system to the spool, enduring the massive push-and-pull forces of drag engagement and heavy cranking.
A bent spool shaft is a common issue after a reel has been dropped or subjected to drag loads beyond its rating. If your spool wobbles during rotation, scrapes against the rotor, or if the drag pressure feels uneven, a bent shaft is the likely culprit. Replacing this assembly ensures your spool oscillates vertically with precision, providing the perfect line lay required for braid and heavy monofilament.
Key Features
-
Genuine Fin-Nor Part: Engineered specifically for the large-capacity Offshore series platforms.
-
Heavy-Gauge Stainless Steel: Built to resist bending and corrosion in harsh marine environments.
-
Precision Keyways: Machined grooves ensure a secure, slip-free connection with the oscillation slider and spool clicker assembly.
-
Drag Support: Provides the rigid vertical axis necessary for the multi-stack drag system to function smoothly.
Compatible Models
This shaft is designed for the Large Body Offshore series. It is not compatible with the smaller OFS45 or OFS55 models (which use the YT315 series shaft).

Fin-Nor Offshore OFS65
-
Fin-Nor Offshore OFS75
-
Fin-Nor Offshore OFS85
-
Fin-Nor Offshore OFS95
Note: Fin-Nor part prefixes (KT vs. HT) can vary by production year. This part is functionally interchangeable with KT315-01 on most large-frame OFS diagrams.
Technical Specifications
-
Manufacturer: Fin-Nor / Pure Fishing
-
Part Number: HT315-01
-
Alternate Part Number: 1534002 (Also replaces KT315-01)
-
Material: Stainless Steel
-
Application: Main Spool Shaft / Center Shaft

Position: Key #26 (on standard OFS95 schematics)
Tech Tip: The spool shaft connects to the oscillation system via the Oscillation Slider (Key #38) and is secured by a small screw. When replacing the shaft, we strongly recommend applying Red Loctite (Threadlocker) to the Main Shaft Screw (Key #39). Due to the heavy vibration of these large reels, that screw can back out, causing the shaft to disconnect during a fight.
