Recommended Maintenance for Heavy-Duty Reels
To maintain the elite performance standards of the Stella and Twinpower series, proper lubrication of the drag system and internal components is essential. We strongly recommend the following:

Drag Surface Treatment: Apply a very light, even coating of Deuthlon Reel Grease to the CarbonTex washer. This specialized grease is designed to stay on the washer face, preventing "drag fade" and protecting the metal pressure plates from saltwater intrusion.

Support Bearings: Use Deuthlon Reel Oil on the spool's support bearings and the main shaft to ensure the spool rotates with zero friction, even under maximum drag settings.
Note: When installing your new CarbonTex washer, ensure all old grease and debris are removed from the drag cavity and metal washers using a high-quality degreaser.
