Product Description
DAM Quick 110-590 Oscillation Slide - SLS 0 / 1
Maintain precision spool tracking with this genuine DAM Quick Oscillation Slide.
The 110-590 Oscillation Slide (often referred to as the Slider Guide or Oscillation Plate) is the structural component that guides the oscillation slider block. Located within the gearbox of the DAM Quick SLS 0 and SLS 1, this metal plate creates the track that ensures the spool shaft moves in a perfectly straight line. While the slider block (Part #110-514) holds the shaft, this slide plate keeps that block aligned. If this part is bent, worn, or missing, the reel will suffer from binding, "sticky" spool movement, or excessive noise.
Product Features
-
Precision Stamping: Manufactured to exact tolerances to provide a smooth, slop-free channel for the slider block.
-
Structural Support: Anchors the oscillation system to the reel body, preventing torque-induced misalignment.
-
Durable Metal: Constructed to resist wear from the constant friction of the moving slider block.
-
Essential for Alignment: Ensures the spool stroke remains vertical and consistent for even line lay.
Model Compatibility
This part is verified to fit the following DAM Quick spinning reel models:
-
DAM Quick SLS 0
-
DAM Quick SLS 1
Note: This slide plate is designed for the compact SLS 0/1 housing. It is not compatible with the larger SLS 2, 3, 4, or 5 models.

Installation Notes
Replacing the oscillation slide requires accessing the oscillation system.
-
Remove the spool, rotor, handle, and side plate.
-
Remove the main drive gear to expose the oscillation slider and this slide plate.
-
Remove the screws securing the old 110-590 slide plate to the reel body.
-
Lift off the old plate. Inspection: Check the Oscillation Slider Block (Part #110-514) underneath; if the plate is worn, the block likely is too.
-
Clean the mounting area and the new plate thoroughly.
-
Apply a light coat of grease to the surface of the new plate where the slider block will make contact.
-
Install the new plate, tighten the screws securely (but do not overtighten), and test the slider movement by hand to ensure it glides freely without binding.
