Installation Notes

Replacing the oscillation slider requires disassembly of the reel's gearbox.

1. Remove the spool, handle, and side plate to access the internals.

2. Remove the main drive gear to reveal the oscillation system underneath.

3. Unscrew the small screw connecting the main shaft to the old slider.

4. Slide the old block out and thoroughly clean the body tracks of old grease and debris.

5. Install the new 110-581 slider. Apply a generous amount of reel grease to the tracks and the S-groove that engages the oscillation gear pin.

6. Reconnect the main shaft and test the up-and-down motion by turning the pinion gear by hand before reassembling the side plate.
