Product Description
DAM Quick 110-561 Ratchet - SLS 0 / 1
Ensure instant hook sets and reliable stopping power with this genuine DAM Quick Ratchet Gear.
The ratchet gear (often called the anti-reverse ratchet or cog) is the toothed component that works in tandem with the stop pawl to prevent your reel handle from spinning backward. On the compact DAM Quick SLS 0 and SLS 1, this gear is typically mounted on the pinion shaft assembly. If your anti-reverse slips, makes a "skipping" noise under load, or fails to lock instantly, worn or rounded teeth on this ratchet are usually the cause. This authentic replacement part restores the sharp, positive engagement needed for effective fishing.
Product Features

Precision Cut Teeth: Sharp, defined teeth ensure the anti-reverse pawl catches immediately without slipping.

Installation Notes
Replacing the ratchet gear typically requires removing the rotor and accessing the pinion assembly.
-
Remove the spool and the rotor nut to lift the rotor off the reel body.
-
You will usually find the ratchet gear seated on the pinion shaft or bearing assembly.
-
Remove the old ratchet. Tip: Inspect the anti-reverse pawl at the same time; if the ratchet teeth are worn, the pawl tip is often damaged as well.
-
Clean the shaft and the surrounding area of old grease and debris.
-
Install the new 110-561 ratchet. Ensure the teeth are oriented correctly to catch the pawl when the handle is turned backward, but slide past it when turned forward.
-
Reassemble the rotor and test the anti-reverse function before tightening the final nuts.
