Product Description
DAM Quick 110-549 Bearing - SLS 2
Eliminate friction and restore the silky smooth operation of your DAM Quick reel with this genuine Ball Bearing.
The 110-549 Ball Bearing is a precision component designed to support the rotating shafts within the DAM Quick SLS 2 gearbox. Whether positioned on the main drive gear or the pinion shaft (refer to specific schematic location), this bearing is crucial for maintaining alignment and reducing the effort required to turn the handle. If your reel feels rough, makes a "growling" noise during retrieval, or has developed play in the handle, a worn or seized bearing is the likely cause. This authentic replacement part restores the tight tolerances and effortless performance expected from DAM engineering.

Installation Notes
Replacing a ball bearing requires a clean environment to prevent grit from entering the new part.
-
Disassemble the reel to access the bearing housing.
-
Remove the old bearing. Important: Check for any thin shim washers seated against the old bearing and set them aside—they are critical for gear spacing.
-
Clean the bearing pocket thoroughly of old grease and debris.
-
Lightly oil the new 110-549 bearing with a high-quality reel oil (or light grease if used on the main gear).
-
Press the new bearing into place evenly; do not hammer or force it, as this can damage the races.
-
Replace the shims and reassemble the reel.
