Product Description
DAM Quick 110-524 R/S Plate - SLS 4
Restore the structural integrity and sleek appearance of your reel with this genuine DAM Quick Right Side Plate.
The Right Side Plate (R/S Plate) is the primary cover for your reel's gearbox. On the DAM Quick SLS 4, this component is essential for sealing the internal mechanism against saltwater intrusion, sand, and dust. Over time, side plates can crack from impact, warp from heat, or suffer thread damage from over-tightened screws. This authentic replacement part ensures a watertight seal and proper bearing alignment, protecting your main gear and oscillation system from premature wear.

Installation Notes
Replacing the side plate requires opening the reel's main housing.
-
Remove the handle and the side plate screws (keep track of screw lengths, as they may vary).
-
Carefully lift off the old plate. If the main drive gear comes out with it, ensure the shims/washers are not lost.
-
Clean the mating surface on the reel body to ensure a good seal.
-
Check the bearing or bushing in the old plate; transfer it to the new 110-524 plate if a new one is not included.
-
Install the new plate and tighten the screws in a crisscross pattern to ensure even pressure. Do not over-tighten, as this can crack the composite material.
