Product Description
DAM Quick 110-514 Oscillation Slider - SLS 0 / 1
Ensure perfect line lay and smooth spool movement with this genuine DAM Quick Oscillation Slider.
The oscillation slider (often called the traverse cam or block) is a critical component of the reel's internal line management system. Connected to the drive gear oscillation pin, this slider converts rotational motion into the linear up-and-down movement of the spool shaft. On the compact DAM Quick SLS 0 and SLS 1, a worn slider can lead to uneven line stacking, "clunking" noises at the top or bottom of the stroke, or a spool that stops moving entirely. This authentic replacement part restores the precise, consistent oscillation needed for trouble-free casting.
Product Features
-
Precision Tracking: Engineered to slide smoothly within the body channels of the SLS 0 and SLS 1.
-
Durable Material: Constructed to resist wear at the high-friction contact points.
-
Exact Geometry: Ensures the spool shaft travels the full stroke length for even line distribution.
-
Essential Function: Vital for preventing line dig-in and ensuring smooth drag payout.
Model Compatibility
This part is verified to fit the following DAM Quick spinning reel models:
-
DAM Quick SLS 0
-
DAM Quick SLS 1
Note: This slider is designed for the small-frame architecture of the SLS 0 and 1. It is not compatible with the larger SLS 2, 3, 4, or 5 models.

Installation Notes
Replacing the oscillation slider requires accessing the deepest part of the reel's gearbox.
-
Remove the spool, handle, and side plate. You may also need to remove the rotor to free the main shaft.
-
Remove the main drive gear to expose the oscillation system.
-
Detach the main shaft from the old slider (typically secured by a small screw).
-
Remove the old slider and clean the body tracks thoroughly to remove old grease and metal filings.
-
Install the new 110-514 slider, applying a light coating of reel grease to the tracks and the groove where the gear pin rides.
-
Reattach the main shaft securely and test the up-and-down motion by turning the pinion gear by hand before full reassembly.
