Product Description
DAM Quick 110-489 Lever - SLS 2
Restore the solid hook-setting power of your DAM Quick reel with this genuine Lever replacement.
The 110-489 Lever acts as the Anti-Reverse Pawl (or Stop Pawl) for the DAM Quick SLS 2. This critical internal component engages with the ratchet gear to stop the handle from spinning backward, ensuring solid hook sets and preventing "knuckle-busting" when fighting a fish. If your anti-reverse is slipping, making grinding noises, or failing to engage, a worn tip or bent pivot on this lever is the likely cause. This authentic part restores the instant, reliable lock-up expected from DAM engineering.

Installation Notes
Replacing the anti-reverse lever requires disassembly of the reel body.
-
Remove the side plate to expose the main gear and anti-reverse mechanism.
-
Note the position of the small tension spring connected to the old lever—do not lose this spring.
-
Lift the old lever off its post and clean the area of old grease and metal shavings.
-
Install the new 110-489 lever.
-
Reconnect the spring and test the mechanism by flipping the external anti-reverse switch; the lever should move in and out of the ratchet path smoothly.
