Product Description
DAM Quick 110-457 Line Guide - SLS 5
Maximize the lifespan of your heavy tackle with this genuine DAM Quick Line Guide.
The line guide (or line roller) is a vital contact point on any spinning reel, but on the massive DAM Quick SLS 5, it is critical. Designed for heavy surf casting and big game applications, the SLS 5 subjects its components to extreme tension and friction. A worn, seized, or grooved line guide will rapidly damage heavy monofilament and braid, leading to catastrophic line failure during a fight. This authentic replacement part ensures your line moves smoothly onto the spool, preserving its strength and integrity when you need it most.

Installation Notes
The SLS 5 line guide assembly may contain internal bushings or washers. When replacing the guide, ensure these internal components are clean and in good condition.
-
Remove the bail arm screw to release the old guide.
-
Clean the pivot shaft thoroughly.
-
Apply a high-quality reel oil or light grease to the shaft and the interior of the new 110-457 guide.
-
Reassemble, ensuring the guide spins freely by hand before tightening the screw completely. A seized roller on a reel of this size will ruin fishing line very quickly.
