Product Description
DAM Quick 110-455 Line Guide - SLS 0 / 1 / 2
Safeguard your line and ensure smooth casting with this genuine DAM Quick Line Guide.
The line guide (commonly known as the line roller) is the critical interface between your fishing line and the reel during retrieval. Located on the bail arm, it must rotate freely to prevent line twist and provide a smooth surface to prevent abrasion. On the smaller DAM Quick SLS 0, 1, and 2 models, a worn or seized line guide can lead to frayed line, reduced casting distance, and eventual break-offs. This authentic replacement part restores the low-friction performance needed for light lines and finesse fishing.

Installation Notes
When installing the 110-455 line guide, cleanliness is key. Remove the bail screw and the old roller. Clean the shaft or bushing thoroughly. Apply a drop of lightweight reel oil (not heavy grease) to the new guide to ensure it spins freely. If the guide does not rotate, it will act as a stationary post, which causes severe line twist. Ensure the guide is oriented correctly to funnel the line into the center of the roller.
