Product Description
Fin-Nor YT315-01 Center Shaft Assembly (Offshore OFS45-55)
Restore the cranking power and oscillation reliability of your saltwater spinning reel with the Fin-Nor YT315-01 Center Shaft Assembly. This genuine OEM component is the central spine of the Fin-Nor Offshore OFS drive system. Crafted from heavy-duty stainless steel, this main shaft is built to withstand the immense torque required when turning the handle against a heavy drag load.
If your reel is experiencing a "wobbly" spool, rough oscillation, or if the shaft was bent during a fall or an extreme fish fight, replacing this assembly is critical. A bent main shaft will quickly ruin your pinion gear and cause uneven line lay.
Key Features
-
Genuine Fin-Nor Part: Engineered specifically for the Offshore (OFS) spinning reel platform.
-
Stainless Steel Construction: heavy-gauge steel resists corrosion and bending under extreme load.
-
Precision Machined: Features exact keyways and grooves for the oscillation slider and spool clicker components.
-
Oscillation Core: Connects the spool to the oscillation slider, converting rotary motion into the up-and-down stroke that lays your line.
Compatible Models
This center shaft is designed for the "Small Body" Offshore series. It is not compatible with the larger OFS65, OFS75, OFS85, or OFS95 models (which use the KT315 series shaft).

Note: Fin-Nor part numbers have evolved over time. This part (YT315-01) is often cross-referenced with newer production codes (such as XAD315-01). Please verify your reel's generation.
Technical Specifications
-
Manufacturer: Fin-Nor / Pure Fishing
-
Part Number: YT315-01
-
Alternate Part Number: 1534166 (Often listed as XAD315-01 in newer schematics)
-
Material: Stainless Steel
-
Application: Main Drive Shaft / Spool Support
-
Position: Key #26 (on standard OFS45 schematics)
Tech Tip: When replacing the center shaft, inspect the Oscillation Slider (Key #38) and the Main Shaft Screw (Key #39). These parts connect directly to the shaft and are common failure points if the reel has been subjected to heavy shock. A loose screw here is the #1 cause of "slop" in the spool stroke.
Schematic Reference
To verify the assembly order and component location, please consult the exploded view diagrams available at www.reelschematic.com. Locate the Fin-Nor Offshore OFS45 schematic to identify the Center Shaft Assembly (Key #26).
