Product Description
Elevate the performance of your Shimano Tranx 300, 400, or 500 with our Precision Ceramic Hybrid Spool Bearing Kit. Engineered for heavy-duty saltwater use and long-distance casting, this two-piece set replaces your factory stainless bearings with high-speed, friction-reducing SI3N4 Ceramic technology.
Whether you are hucking heavy iron for Yellowtail or launching oversized swimbaits for Musky, these bearings provide the "free-spool" speed needed to reach the strike zone and the corrosion resistance to stay there.

Installation Tip
To install the 5x11x4mm bearing, you will need a Spool Pin Remover Tool to safely remove the cross-pin on the spool shaft. The 3x10x4mm bearing is located behind the tension knob or inside the removable palm-side plate.
Pro Note: Upgrading to Ceramic Hybrids will significantly increase your spool's "start-up" speed. We recommend adjusting your centrifugal or magnetic brakes higher for your first few casts to avoid backlashes while you get used to the new speed.
