It features a precision-engineered 5.3:1 gear ratio and a specialized 2-bearing system.

Because this reel is nearly 40 years old, the factory lubricants have likely turned into a thick, waxy sludge or dried out completely. To restore its original "Swedish smooth" retrieve and protect its vintage brass components, this guide utilizes Deuthlon Reel Grease and Deuthlon Reel Oil.

Phase 1: Exterior Disassembly
