Installation & Maintenance
To ensure the clicker dog pivots smoothly and doesn't "stick" due to salt buildup, proper lubrication is vital. We recommend applying a small amount of Deuthlon Reel Grease to the pivot pin where the dog sits. This prevents salt from crusting behind the part. For the teeth of the dog and the gear it contacts, a light coating of Deuthlon Reel Oil will maintain a smooth, friction-free "click" and provide an extra layer of moisture protection.
