Compatible Model Lines:
- Minn Kota All Terrain (AT): All 5-speed, foot-controlled models.

Signs It's Time to Replace Your 5-Speed Switch
If you're experiencing any of the following issues with your foot-controlled Minn Kota trolling motor, a faulty 5-speed switch is the likely culprit:
- Loss of a Specific Speed or Speeds: The most common symptom is the inability to engage one or more of the five speeds. You might find that your motor works on speeds 1, 2, and 5, but 3 and 4 are non-responsive.
- Intermittent Power: The motor may cut in and out when a specific speed is selected.
- Motor Only Works on the Highest Setting: A failure within the switch can sometimes result in the motor only operating at full power (speed 5).
- No Power to the Motor: In some cases, a completely failed switch can prevent any power from reaching the motor.
- "Mushy" or Indistinct Clicks Between Speeds: A worn-out switch may lose its crisp, tactile click when changing speeds, making it difficult to know if a gear is properly engaged.
The Unmistakable Advantage of Genuine Minn Kota Parts
When it comes to maintaining your Minn Kota trolling motor, settling for anything less than genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts can compromise performance and even lead to further damage. Here’s why choosing the Minn Kota 2884026 is the smart choice:
