Product Description
Hardy 1334270 Latch Cover - Anniversary Series
Product Description
Restore the collector-grade finish and secure spool retention of your limited edition reel with the Hardy 1334270 Latch Cover. This genuine replacement component is manufactured specifically for the Hardy Anniversary Range of lightweight reels.
Crafted from Nickel Silver to match the distinctive aesthetic of the Anniversary editions, this cover protects the internal latch mechanism (spring and bar) from debris and water intrusion. It secures to the spool face using two small latch screws (sold separately). Unlike the standard black plastic caps found on production models, this metal cover is essential for maintaining the value and original factory appearance of your prized Anniversary reel.
Compatibility
This part is precision-engineered for the following Hardy Anniversary Series models:
-
Hardy Anniversary Flyweight
-
Hardy Anniversary Featherweight
-
Hardy Anniversary LRH Lightweight
-

- Hardy Anniversary St. Andrew
Note: This part is designed for the 2-screw latch configuration found on the Lightweight series. It is not compatible with the standard black plastic latch covers found on the Marquis or modern reissue reels unless a Nickel Silver upgrade is desired.

To prevent galvanic corrosion between the Nickel Silver cover and the screws, we recommend applying Deuthlon lubrication products. A small drop of their ceramic-based Reel Oil or Light Grease on the screw threads and the latch mechanism underneath will ensure smooth operation and protect the delicate finish from oxidation.
