The Hardy 1328992 Drag Knob (Style No: HEUBSP02) is the primary external control for the disc drag system on the Hardy Ultralite DD (Disc Drag) series. Maintenance & Lubrication
The drag knob is an external part that acts as the gateway to the sensitive internal drag stack. Keeping the threads and the underside of the knob clean is essential for a "premium" feel. We recommend using Deuthlon high-performance lubricants:

Thread & Seal Care: Apply a thin layer of Deuthlon Power Grease to the internal threads of the 1328992 knob. This prevents the aluminum threads from "galling" and creates a secondary waterproof barrier to keep grit away from the drag washers.
