Product Description
DAM Quick 110-440 Lever - SLS 0
Restore the automatic bail function of your ultralight reel with this genuine DAM Quick Trip Lever.
The trip lever (often called the kick lever or bail trip) is the mechanical "trigger" hidden inside your reel's rotor. When you turn the handle to retrieve a cast, this lever strikes a ramp on the reel body, forcing the bail arm to flip shut. On the compact DAM Quick SLS 0, this component is essential for hands-free bail operation. If your bail spring is strong but the bail refuses to close automatically when cranking, a worn or broken trip lever is the likely issue. This authentic replacement part ensures the mechanical timing and force transfer required for a smooth, reliable transition from cast to retrieve.

Installation Notes
The trip lever is installed on the underside of the rotor or within a specific cavity near the bail arm.
-
Remove the rotor from the reel body to access the trip mechanism (depending on the specific SLS 0 architecture, access may be possible just by removing the bail arm cover).
-
Clean the lever slot of any sand or old, hardened grease.
-
Install the 110-440 lever, ensuring it moves freely in its track.
-
Verify that the lever correctly engages with the bail arm cam surface.
-
Apply a small amount of light grease to the tip of the lever where it contacts the body ramp to reduce wear and noise.
