The Shimano 10504 Left Side Plate (Part No. TGT0614) is the genuine OEM structural cover for the non-handle side of the original Shimano Torium series. This side plate seals the internal components of the reel, protecting the spool bearings and clicker mechanism from saltwater intrusion and impact damage.
If your original side plate is cracked from a drop, corroded from saltwater exposure, or if the screw bosses are stripped, replacing it is vital to keep your reel rigid and aligned. This part comes finished in the classic Torium silver/gunmetal color to match the original factory aesthetics.

Installation Tip: This Left Side Plate houses the Clicker Mechanism (Click Button, Pawl, and Spring). When transferring parts from your old side plate to the new one, take photos of how the clicker spring is seated. It is often under tension and can be tricky to re-seat in the new housing without a reference.
