Product Description
Fin-Nor XF329-02 Preset Knob Assembly (SLD25)
Dial in your drag with precision using the Fin-Nor XF329-02 Preset Knob Assembly. This genuine OEM replacement component is the primary control dial for the Fin-Nor Sportfisher Lever Drag (SLD) series. Located at the center of the drag lever, this knurled knob allows you to fine-tune your drag pressure range before you even engage the strike position.
If your current preset knob is seized from saltwater corrosion, has damaged threads, or has lost its internal clicker detent, it can make setting accurate drag pressure impossible. Installing this complete assembly ensures you can set your drag to the exact "one-third breaking strength" standard required for big game fishing, preventing line breakages and lost fish.

Tech Tip: CRITICAL: Always move the drag lever to the "Free Spool" position before turning this preset knob. Adjusting the preset knob while the reel is in "Strike" or "Full" puts immense pressure on the internal cam and can strip the threads or damage the drag washer. If your old knob is stuck, soaking it in a penetrating oil like corrosionX is often required before removal.
