Product Description
DAM Quick 110-438 Bail Spring - SLS 0 / 1
Revive the snappy, automatic bail return of your ultralight reel with this genuine DAM Quick Bail Spring.
The bail spring is the heartbeat of your spinning reel's casting mechanism. Located inside the rotor housing, it stores the energy required to flip the bail wire back to the retrieval position the moment you turn the handle. On the compact DAM Quick SLS 0 and SLS 1, this small torsion spring endures thousands of cycles. If your bail feels lazy, sticks halfway, or must be closed manually, a fatigued or broken spring is the likely culprit. This authentic replacement part restores the crisp, immediate lock-up required for trouble-free fishing.

Installation Notes
Installing a bail spring requires patience and care. Begin by removing the bail arm screw and carefully lifting the arm. Clean the spring cavity of any old grease or corrosion. Insert the new spring, ensuring the short tang anchors into the rotor body and the long tang engages the bail arm hole. When compressing the spring to reattach the arm, keep firm pressure to prevent the spring from flying out. A small dab of fresh grease will protect the spring from rust and ensure quiet operation.
