Product Description
DAM Quick 110-478 Bail Spring - SLS 2
Bring the snap back to your casting game with this genuine DAM Quick Bail Spring.
The bail spring is the unsung hero of your spinning reel, providing the critical tension needed to hold the bail open during a cast and snap it shut the moment you turn the handle. Designed specifically for the DAM Quick SLS 2, this torsion spring is calibrated to handle the mass of the mid-sized bail assembly. If your bail feels weak, hangs halfway, or requires manual assistance to close, a worn or broken spring is the most likely culprit. This authentic replacement part restores the crisp, automatic action that defines the DAM Quick experience.

Installation Notes
Installing a torsion spring requires care to ensure the tension is loaded correctly.
-
Remove the bail arm screw and lift the arm away from the rotor housing.
-
Remove the old spring and clean the spring cavity of any old grease, sand, or corrosion.
-
Insert the new 110-478 spring, ensuring the short tang anchors into the hole in the rotor body.
-
Align the long tang with the receiving slot or hole in the bail arm.
-
Rotate the arm to pre-load the spring tension before pressing it down and securing it with the screw.
-
Apply a small amount of fresh grease to the spring to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
