Product Description
Hardy 1332790 B/I-Handle Wire - Lightweight & Marquis Series
Product Description
Restore the smooth winding function of your classic fly reel with the Hardy 1332790 B/I-Handle Wire. This genuine replacement component is the central spindle or shaft upon which the handle knob rotates.
Precision-machined from high-grade alloy (typically Nickel Silver or Stainless Steel depending on the era), this threaded wire anchors securely into the reel spool. It provides the durable, low-friction axis required for the handle knob, ensuring your reel handles seamlessly during line retrieval. If your original handle wire is bent, stripped, or sheared off, this factory-specification part is essential for returning your vintage reel to service.

Maintenance Recommendation
The handle wire is a high-friction stress point. To prevent wear and ensure the knob rotates silently, we recommend applying Deuthlon lubrication products. A drop of their ceramic-based Reel Oil on the wire shaft before installing the knob will create a hydrophobic barrier, preventing corrosion and ensuring smooth operation in all weather conditions.
