| Carbon Fiber Handles and Dual Bearing Idler Gears |

We apologize to those interested in or waiting on the Carbon Fiber Handles. These have been on back order straight from the factory for quite some time. At the end of August we had received news that we could expect the handles in this week. Unfortunately there has been an error and Abu has informed us that it looks we will not have the Carbon Fiber Handle until October now.
In other new - the Dual Bearing Idler Gears (5152mkit/19754M) are both on hold at this time. We have hit a manufacturing bump that Mike is doing his best to work out as quickly as possible. When the bearings for the SINGLE ball bearing idler gear kits come in we would be more than happy to ship those as replacements for anyone who is interested. We do hope to have these available to ship again within the next few weeks.
For those of you who are patiently waiting your items, it is greatly appreciated! We will be notifying you all as soon as possible when the parts are ready for shipment.

We have almost completed our next product innovation....a dual ball bearing idler kit for the Shimano Calcutta 400 series baitcasting reel. This kit will contain a spool/click gear (BNT1639), a worm drive gear (BNT1701) and of course the 2 bearing idler gear (BNT1648).
Keep an eye out, this kit will be available within the next week or so! |

Wow! This one has been a long time on the works. We have tried numerous ways to get this right and we finally perfected it! Now your Ambassadeur 7000 series reel can have a levelwind system that glides on 2 stainless ball bearings. Not only is the system now more precise, but is alot more friction free than the stock setup. Add our ceramic line pawl and you'll have a tournament class setup that will make you smile ear to ear.

In our never-ending search for customization parts, we have made a mod, which will be a simple part replacement, that will add another ball bearing to your Ambassadeur round reel. The mod will remove some of the torque friction from the reel while reeling in fish or against heavier currents. Will be available as a stand alone part for sale and available as an upgrade for repairs. (use your part).

| We have updated the website to a more secure and updated software version. While this move has taken some time, there are always some bugs to work out. Over the next few days we'll be adding or deleting certain parts of the site, or simply tweaking them for a better experience. |

Ok, we knew we were losing calls with our old phone carrier and system so we thought it a good idea to do the big switch to ip based phones. When all is said and done we will have a total of 8 incoming lines so it should rarely ring busy. There will be 4 extensions to choose from: Orders, Shipping, Office, & Repairs / Technical help. Each of these extensions will have its own voicemail so we can better handle the call volume.
We expect most of the glitches to worked out within 2 weeks while the numbers port to the new carrier. Until then we are stuck with a killer phone system but still only 2 lines.

Upon website growth there comes a time when the actual server that the site is hosted on becomes too slow. We have been noticing this from a few of our customers who took the time to ask about the speed.
