 So long story short I had previously called a shop close to Ottawa Ontario (where I am) & they had told me they didn't have it... The day you emailed me that it would work they had found one & called me back. So I took it, I wanted to let you know because the lady that helped me was extremely nice. I just wish you guys could be closer! And with the Canada Post situation (postal strike) it would of taken a long time before I would of received it & I have a small tournament this weekend.

I have had your kit in my 6500 rocket for a few years. The ceramic pawls are sensational as well.
Mike, I fish on cape cod in the surf. I have been using Penn synthetic oil and grease in my reels and like it. I use red (7000) and yellow (6500) RF in my spool bearings.
What are guys using to lube the bearings in the levelwind system and idlers?? I have been using penn synthetic thus far.
Also do i need to pull the idler off to lube it properly??

Just thought I’d let you know that my Hummingbird 717 is now working!
   I want to thank you for mailing me the transducer. I missed the delivery the next day by 15min. but I picked it up the next day at the post office, tested it in a bucket of water and finally took the boat out on Saturday with sonar and everything else working perfectly. It’s nice to get good service from a company like yours. To send me the transducer free of charge and next day delivery is not seen much these days...

I went through the reel and made a list of worn or missing parts!  Yep, there was a reel repair guy at a mall and he cleaned and oiled it for me a few years ago.  It didn't work right after I got it back so I went to have him check it but there was a note on the door saying he had passed away.  I found several parts that he left out.  I am also ordering a few extra of some the easy to loose parts.  Thanks for your help.  Great website.
