Now you can have a smoother levelwind system and add another ball bearing to your 7000 series levelwind!

We have had these worm sheilds custom made for us to accept a ball bearing one in end of the sheild,  the worm now spins with less resistance than stock and side load friction is reduced even more to give you a longer cast!

This kit contains:

1. 6912 Worm Gear
2. 2497A Worm Sheild (custom)
3. Worm Bearing (ABEC 7, Stainless Steel
4. Stainless Steel Pawl - see option below

Add one of our ceramic pawls for an even smoother levelwind system!

This kit fits all Abu 7000 series reels including (not a complete list):

• 7000, 7000B, 7000i, 7000C, 7000C3, 7000CL, 7000C Syncro
• 7001
• 7200
• 7500, 7500C3
• 7000i, 7000iC3, 7000iC3 Syncro (will not fit the 'N' series, narrow reels....yet)
