This kit is to replace or upgrade a standard Ambassdeur handle system. Kit fits all right hand Abu reels not including the larger reels (ie: 7000 and up). They will fit such reels as the 3500, 4000, 4500, 4600, 5000, 5500, 5600, 6000, 6500, 6600, etc, etc, etc. including the OLDER ABU'S FROM THE SEVENTIES!
Handle is built from aluminum and is drilled to relieve weight even more. Handles spin on brass posts and the knobs are some of the comfiest I've known! Included with the package is an aluminum nut keeper and allen head screw which really finishes it off nicely. Last but not least, one of our 'oil' nuts is included for nostalgia ;)
