Well I have one of the old ABU's with the 3.25mm bushings. I used some of the buffing compound in my dremel kit and a Q-Tip cut in half..Took off enough cotton so it would fit inside the bushing and buffed the inner bushing at a low-ish speed on the dremel ..Turned out pretty smooth. Buffed the inside of the pinion gear as well. The spool spins pretty good considering it it an early 70's reel..Just thought I'd post up since I have been busy messing with reels for the past few weeks..Adio's for now..Hank _________________ 'HogginHank' |
