I have an older reel (had it for about 10 years) not sure how much older it is.
It was my sons first reel and I would like to fix it up for him.
The only markings on it are :
On the rotor cup it says balanced rotor
On the the side plate it says BASS Outdoor America, the word BASS looks like it is the logo/trademark of B.A.S.S. kind of like a shirt pocket with a jumping bass under the word.
It has a trigger used to open the bail, and on that trigger it says Ez Cast

Color is a dark red/maroon with a splash of gold on the two side plates.
Bail is black.
Looks to have had a snap cover over the nut that holds the drag cap on the spool.
Reel works well as far as I can tell, problem is spool is missing.
Don't have real high hopes of ever finding a spool but son may be leaving for the sand box and would like to give him this reel before he leaves sometime in the next year or so.

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Thanks in Advance
Tom

Hio...Personally, unfamiliar with this unit....it sounds like it's a Bass Pro reel...who has a comprehensive web site devoted to their store, and
reel fix-um-upper stuff. You can skid over to their web site, for all the details: contacts, phone numbers, etc.

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPage?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&appID=40&option=2

Thanks Ken
I've been thinking along those lines also. Was hoping to not go there, just too much hassle. Rolling Eyes
