| I have looked on the Schematics for the Son2500FA and cannot find the little clicker piece. It has broken where it contacts the Spool support. Is this a seperate piece that I can purchase or is it part of the spool assembly? Thanks, Fishengineer |

Hi. There are about 10 schematics for the 2500 at Mikes, so I'm unsure which one is you. With other brands and models for spinning reels, the flapper is part of the spool.
Is yours stuck in there with a plastic collar, or a metal one. If you can remove the stub, you can make a clicker up, from a piece of spring steel, from a McDonald's toy from a happy meal, or any kids wind-up toy.
The spring steel will be thin enough to cut with old scissors, which you can then epoxy back in.
After that, try hitting a sports store for a spare spool. Many spin reels come with two, and the shop will sell the floor model no box, and have the spare spool in the back room for cheap. _________________ http://www.zombo.com

| The clicker piece is screwed on with a small screw into the bottom of the spool on my front drag Sonora 2500 reel. I will definitely try the sping steel idea... Thanks, Fishengineer |

Aha, a screw, which is good. All you need do now is take a scoot up to your sports store, and ask to eyeball a spool, so you can memorize the shape, and dimensions. Good to go. Naturally, this presumes you are dealing with a friendly sports store, where you spend all your loot...
Me, wow, I shudder. It's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds a year !!!!! _________________ http://www.zombo.com
