...changed the theme back to something that more closely resembles the forums and main site (mikesreelrepair.com). I've never had anyone say that the font was hard to read on the forums, so.....we'll give that a try on the schematics pages too. My wife was an influence in that decision, shae said it was hard to read against the dark background.
***Leaving the theme as-is***
Still working on the code itself though Rolling Eyes _________________ "Keep it outta the water damnit!"

Hi Ken and Mike,
Just thought I'd mention that the schematics are working fine for me both on the laptop with Vista and on my six year old
desktop running XP SP3.
They both work fine with Adobe 9 and Foxit. In my humble opinion the lighter background is easier to use than the very dark one you had on for a while.
I'm not finding the Chinese built 7000i schems. Am I missing something or are they not up yet??
Say Ken, I'm guessing that it could be that Penguin getting revenge. He sure is a tough bird to be getting up like Rocky so many times.

Thanks Ken, for offering to send the 7000i schematics. I have them stored on my computer and printed for backup. I was just checking to see if I didn't know how to find them in the new setup.
Have a good day. |

| guys, i had many of my reel repair posts linked to your site so that people could get schematics. those links are all screwed up now. don't worry, though. i don't see it as a problem. anyone with a little persistence can find a schematic. the search function is very nice. thanks for that and all of your hard work. this is a great resource. alan |

Thanx Alan!
I am working with a few web gurus to see if I can't point those old links to the new ones....don't hold your breath too much, but we're hoping.
hanx or the input though...if you have any ideas for better or worse, please do let me know.

nope, all the schematics were copied over, plus we have added approx 400 more schematics, Shimano included, to the database.
i did a search for "Bantam" and I got 3 hits.
As time permits, all of the filenames will have model names and keywords attached for better searching..

Hi, Mike... I noticed a potential turnoff for folks using the schematics base.
All the new additions are not in numerical order... so if a guy wants a 6600 Brute, he'll not find it the 66's...it's lumped in with the latest additions on the very first search page, not on page 3, where the 66's start...
The only workaround I know of, using XP, is: open page one of the schematics, goto edit at top of page, select find on this page, and type in 6600. Then, all the 66's on page one will start to show. I found the Brute in 5 clicks. _________________ http://www.zombo.com

...give that a try. I had it set to "Name Ascending" and now it's set as "Titlae Ascending". I see where it was just adding the new additions to the end by their actual file NUMBER not their name. Apreciate the function notice...thank you
