Hello

I have recently gotten a used Cannon Sportroll downrigger. It appears to be almost new. I have never used this type of item. I cannot figure out how to release the line and generally unfamilar with exactly how these work. Can you advise me on this? It has no line counter do you know if one is available and would you have that part.

Thanks for your help.

Gabbo

Hi!
Sorry for the delay....
To release the line, rotate the handle backwards slightly. The more you move it backwards, the looser the cable drum will become.
Other than that it's pretty much downrigger-simple Wink
