Hi fellow fisher-people Very Happy im in dire need of a spool for my newly acquired Mitchell 3550rd, though the 2250 spool is the same part number so should fit

The reel ive just picked up is kinda sad to say the least so needs some restoration some good nick body parts would come in handy or in fact any good nick parts seeing as im restoring it

So if anyone one as any of these parts going free, cheap or reasonable I would be grateful

Contact me on omallythomas@hotmail.com if you can help in any way

Hi...did you ask if they had good parts reels? Both Mike's and Trevor have buckets of dead birds they buy at auction, to use as parts reels.
Yours could very well be among them.

I’ve actually managed to buy a V-Good condition Boxed Mitchell 3550rd reel with spare spool although it is a deep spool for £29 which is great
Cool

I am still restoring the one in poor condition so any parts could still be used and would be appreciated Very Happy

Hi... I sent Mike a note, to check if this reel was ever sold in North America. I'll advise when I hear back. Cheers, KD.

Hi KD

I sent Mike an e-mail myself a few days ago and have just had a reply saying in this occasion he cant help, and have also contacted Trevor at reeldr.com who says he does have a spools for $13 I was hoping for less really Sad while im on a budget part wise the wife doesn't allow me much Wink and unfortunately the shipping from Canada at near $20, for a spool for me is a bit of a killer too, though some states in the US seem to be quite cheap at about $5 to the UK it just depends on which one, I suppose for the time being I should just keep my search to the UK but im not stuck for time so can wait for cheap parts to come up where ever they are...
