i did everything possible to my 5600c4. worm kit, ceramics, carbon drag, rocket brakes, and bearing idler. so fast i put old brakes back on. great distance and more importantly my close/light presentations are very easy. I make all the same casts as with my low profile reels plus i have more line capacity and the non-disengaging levelwind that you need for handling big lunkertards and i don\'t have to center the guide before i cast. I can now use a light little roll cast where other guys are using the samurai chop. you need to oil worm bearings regularly or they can freeze and i don\'t think the gear side bearing can be replaced. i use reelX every 2-3 trips, but i mostly work the salt. i also put new 5.3 gears on, now it is perfect. i am a crazy cranker and the high speed gears was just to fast plus not as smooth. I love my calcuttas but not as much as my abus!
