We have finally received this custom made pawl from the factory after months of testing and remanufacturing... these new pawls are ready for action!
You will be amazed how the pawl glides through the worm gear so much smoother and fluid-feeling. Made from super hard Zirconia ceramic, these pawls are harder, longer lasting, and more precise fitting than the original part.
This is a super easy upgrade to install, just pull the pawl cap and stick the new pawl in place of the old one!
We have found that the shim Shimano puts in most of their levelwind reels just behind the pawl, isn't necessary with this new part....we had the dimensions increased to do away with it! One less part to lose when cleaning!
This new pawl will fit any Shimano baitcast reel that takes part # BNT2150.
